A spouses guide to DINFOS @ Ft Meade Maryland

Hello from Ft Meade where my husband is in week 4 of DINFOS.   I was able to join him here in MD for 5 weeks- I brought my 5 year old and 11 month old along for the "vacation". The date is June 23, 2015 and the OLD hotel is still here.  I am staying in a very old room, while the new hotel is being built... so--- if you are reading this in 2016+--- disregard the hotel info. Hotel info:   we are a Air Force family- and the Army peeps say this is a very standard Army Post!   Older hotel, smelly hallway.   But hey- I have a kitchen, comfty bed, nice sheets :) There are 3 floors and NO elevators!  So I just carry baby up the stairs. Stroller has to stay in the car. Free Washer/dryer on each level. no need to pack lots of clothing. I just do a load a day. A spouses guide to AMS (OCS) at Maxwell AFB

Is your Spouse/Significant Other off to Air Military School at Maxwell AFB?   Then you may find this blog to be very helpful.   We just got back last week (May 17, 2014) from Maxwell AFB, my Husband Jason graduated from AMS. First, I will probably refer to the Officer Candidates (OC's) as males, I do apologize- if your WIFE is off to AMS, she is a Rockstar in my book!    1: Background We are from Fresno, CA and my husband is out of the Fresno 144th.    He is a 6th grade teacher in civilian life, I am a High School Guidance Counselor.   Advice is my life-  I work with 300+ high school students.  I love getting advice as much as I love giving it.   There was very little on the "Google" when I was doing my research before I left, this is why I started this blog.   We have a 3 year old son and I was pregnant with our 2nd (5-7months) during his leave to Maxwell.  (Don't ask me how I did it... really, I am still not sure)...
